Create a Claim
You can create claims either manually or directly from an existing order. This flexibility allows you to manage issues efficiently, whether they are general queries or related to a specific order.
When creating a claim, you will need to provide key details such as the claim type, a clear description, and a proposed resolution. Once created, claims can be tracked and audited throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring a clear record of all actions taken.
Quick Check - Before You Start
- Confirm Claim Types and Claim Manager (and related claim settings) are configured under Site Settings > Claim.
- Decide whether the claim is general (manual) or tied to a specific order (create from the order).
Manual Creation
Use this method for general claims that are not linked to a specific order.
