Uploading Images to a Claim

The Images section allows you to attach visual evidence to support a claim, which is especially useful for documenting faulty products. This functionality provides essential clarity for audits, investigations, and supplier communications.

You can upload one or more images directly to a claim item. Each image can be accompanied by notes to explain the issue or highlight specific details. The system also includes a basic image editor to crop, rotate, or adjust the uploaded images for better clarity.

Quick Check - Before You Start
  • Open the claim and locate the Images section on the claim item you need to document.
  • Have image files ready on your device; use clear, high-resolution photos of the issue where possible.

How to Upload Images

  1. Click the plus (+) icon to begin adding images.
  2. Select one or more image files from your device.
  3. Optionally, use the built-in editor to:

Troubleshooting

Why is my image upload failing?

Image uploads may fail due to file size limits, unsupported formats, or network connectivity issues.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Verify the image is in a supported format (JPEG, PNG)
  2. Check the file size is within the upload limit
  3. Try refreshing the page and re-uploading
Why are my image annotations not saving?

Annotations must be saved before navigating away from the editing view. If you leave the page without saving, changes will be lost.

Steps to resolve:

  1. After adding annotations, click Save before navigating away
  2. Re-open the image and verify annotations are visible
  3. If the issue persists, try a different browser or clear your cache
