Members
The Members panel assigns compliance officers, factory liaisons, and other stakeholders to a record so responsibilities are explicit. Add or remove people with the plus and trash controls and use search or groups to find the right user quickly. Notifications and tasks route to members based on those assignments throughout the lifecycle. Typical assignments include auditors, compliance officers, and factory contacts who must receive updates, tasks, and reminders for that audit or certification. Clear ownership helps ensure corrective actions and renewal work reach accountable people on time.

Important Notes When Using Members
Permission Requirements: Only users with the appropriate permissions can add or remove members from a compliance record. If you cannot see the add or remove options, contact your administrator to request access.
Notification Impact: Assigned members receive automated notifications based on their assignment. Ensure the member list is kept current to avoid sending notifications to people who are no longer involved.
Group Assignments: When adding members via groups, all users within that group are added to the compliance record. Review the list after adding a group to remove any individuals who should not be included.
Audit Trail: Member additions and removals may be logged in the compliance history depending on your system configuration. This provides an audit trail of who was assigned to the record and when.
Best Practices
Use Suggested Groups: Use suggested groups to quickly assign entire teams or departments that are commonly involved in compliance activities.
Keep the Member List Current: Regularly review and update the member list to ensure that automated notifications and tasks are sent to the correct people. Remove members who are no longer involved.
Assign Key Stakeholders Early: Add compliance officers, factory liaisons, or department heads at the start of the compliance lifecycle so they receive all relevant updates from the beginning.
