Component Details
The Details tab is the central hub for all essential information about your components. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive details is crucial for ensuring everyone in your organisation has a clear understanding of the materials being used and their sourcing.

The Details tab outlines the fundamental data points for each component. These fields enable your team to track materials, manage supplier relationships, and organise components effectively across collections and seasons.
For components that are linked from the Component Library to styles or orders, updates to Component No., Description, Type, Composition, and Supplier flows through to Style > Definition, Order > Definition, the relevant Style/Order specification documents, and Supplier Portal definition documents. After an order reaches Completed status, further edits to those fields no longer update that order’s definition or its documents.
