Component Orders

The Orders tab offers a read-only overview of all orders that have used the selected component. It serves as a detailed usage record, showing exactly where and how the component has been applied across various orders.

The Orders tab provides a comprehensive view of component usage across your order portfolio. Orders are automatically grouped by the component's colour, making it easy to track the usage of specific variants. This section is for viewing purposes only to ensure data integrity—no edits can be made. Powerful filtering options allow you to narrow down the order list based on criteria such as Status and Factory.

Available Columns

Column Description
Component Colour Specifies the colour of the selected component used in the order.
Order Displays the order number where the component is applied.
Style Indicates the style associated with the order that uses the component.
Description Provides a brief description of the style or order.
Agent Identifies the agent handling or associated with the order.
Factory States the factory responsible for producing the order.
ETD Shows the Estimated Time of Departure for the order.
Season Indicates the season the order belongs to.
Colourway Displays the specific colourway used in the style for this order.
Order Qty Indicates the total quantity ordered for the style.
Component Qty Shows the quantity of the selected component used in this order. Displays decimal values when applicable (e.g., 132.3).
Status Indicates the current status of the order (e.g., Open, Closed, In Production).
Forecast Future Demand

Use the order history to analyse trends and forecast future demand for specific component colours. This allows you to proactively manage stock levels and anticipate procurement needs.

Enhance Quality Control

When a quality issue is detected in a component, use this tab to quickly identify all affected orders. This enables you to trace the component's usage and streamline any necessary recall or follow-up actions.

Inform Sales and Design Strategy

By analysing which component colours are most frequently used in orders, your sales team can identify popular trends, and your design team can make more informed decisions for future collections.
