Duplicate

The Duplicate action clones an existing costing so you can reuse templates, currencies, and pricing scaffolding across customers, departments, or regions. Open the blue duplicate icon to launch the sidebar, tweak fields such as account manager or terms, then confirm to create the new record. Carried values accelerate setup while still letting you correct identifiers before save. Duplication suits new seasons, channel-specific price revisions, or customer variants that share the same cost structure. Always refresh identifiers, currencies, and terms immediately so each cloned cost sheet remains traceable to its own context.

Important Notes When Using Duplicate

Post-Duplication Tasks: Don't forget to assign the duplicated costing to a style or sales order afterward.

Template Fields: Adjust currency and department as needed—template fields are editable before confirming the duplicate.

Best Practices

Use for Seasonal Updates: Use duplication when working with seasonal updates or channel-specific pricing.

Verify Carried-Over Data: Templates, pricing, currencies, and optional cost fields are carried forward. Always verify that carried-over values are correct for the new costing before confirming.

Assign After Duplication: Assign the duplicated costing to a style or sales order as soon as possible to ensure it is properly linked in your workflow.
