Items
The Items section defines the scope of a licence agreement by specifying which countries, customers, or other organisational groups the licence applies to. This ensures clarity around the geographical and commercial limitations of each licence.
The Items section is where quality teams, compliance officers, and supply chain managers assign which territories, customers, or organisational groups are covered by each licence contract. All item options are maintained as master data in Site Settings, and are selectable during licence creation or editing.
By managing these assignments centrally, teams can standardise how licence scope is defined, improve traceability across regions and customer groups, and ensure that contractual terms are respected for distribution audits and compliance reviews.

Quick Check - Before You Start
- Confirm Countries, Customers, and related lists are maintained in Site Settings so dropdowns populate
- Have the contract scope (territories and customer groups) ready before editing Items

Troubleshooting
Why are Countries, Customers, or Organisational Groups dropdowns empty?
Item lists are master data from Site Settings. If nothing is configured, selectors stay empty.
Steps to resolve:
- Open Site Settings and add or enable the required countries, customers, or groups.
- Return to the license Items section and refresh the record.
My licence scope looks wrong after a contract amendment—what should I check?
Items define where the licence applies; stale assignments break exclusivity and reporting.
Steps to resolve:
- Compare Countries, Customers, and Organisational Groups against the amended contract.
- Update selections to match the new territories and parties, then save the license.
Why does compliance reporting still show old regions for this licence?
Reports rely on the current Items assignments; cached exports or saved views may still reflect earlier data.
Steps to resolve:
- Confirm the license Items fields were saved successfully.
- Re-run the report or clear filters so results use the updated scope.
Helpful Tips
- Periodically review the Site Settings to ensure all regions and customer lists are current.
- Use this section to enforce contract terms and geographic exclusivity.
- Keep item assignments up to date when contracts are amended or renewed.
