Members

The Members section of the Order application allows you to manage who is involved with a specific order. Adding the right people helps streamline collaboration and ensures visibility across departments.

This section enables users to assign or remove team members from an order. Once added, members appear in a list with options to manage their involvement. This functionality is especially useful for ensuring all relevant members are kept in the loop. Order members define who may work on this specific transaction—internal owners, agents, factories, and others coordinating production and shipment. Assignments here are deliberate at order level and are not the same as style membership unless you add them explicitly.

Order Members Independence

Order members are independent from style member assignments. When creating an order from a style, supplier members assigned to the style are not automatically included as members in the new order. When duplicating an order and assigning a different style, Agent and Factory (supplier details) from the original order are carried over to the new order. Any style-level supplier members that do not align with your order's supplier selection are removed. Style members are not copied to the order. This ensures you have full control over who has access to each order whilst preserving your supplier details.

Step Action
1 Click the plus icon to open the member selection menu.
2 Search for a team member by typing the name, or browse through suggested groups.
3 Tick the checkbox next to the member's name to assign them to the order. After assigning, the member will then be added for such Order item.

Component Compliance Restrictions

When Enforce Component Compliance is enabled in Site Settings > Order > General Settings, and a valid component compliance is not found for the selected component supplier/customer combination, you cannot share the order with Supplier members. Supplier members will appear greyed out in the members dropdown until compliance requirements are met.

Share with Agent

You can quickly share an order with an Agent by clicking the Share icon next to the Agent field in the Order Details section. When you click the Share icon:

  • All users from that Agent are automatically added to the Members section
  • The order is instantly shared with the Agent's team
  • Receive all relevant notifications and emails automatically

To unshare an order with an Agent, click the Share icon again to remove all Agent users from the Members section, revoking their access.

To add, edit, or remove the members listed in this section, go to: Site Settings > Company > Staff.

1 Click the trash icon next to the member's name.
2 A confirmation prompt will appear. Confirm to remove the member from the order.

  • Use the search bar to quickly find relevant team members.
  • Factory/Agent suggestions can speed up assignment for common teams.
  • Confirm removals carefully to avoid accidental loss of access.
