Documents
The Documents section in the Planner module provides a view-only list of files associated with a planner item. These documents are typically added during the workflow and may include specification sheets, approvals, templates, or supporting forms. Generated outputs and linked files often represent range plans, buy sheets, and other seasonal planning documents used in reviews and sign-off.
Each file is listed as a clickable row and includes a download icon for quick access. This section allows team members to reference essential documents without editing or uploading new ones.
Filters and Generated Documents
When generating documents (Storyboard A4, Storyboard A3, Range Planner A4, Option Plan), the styles included match what you see in Planner > Styles for your current view.
For Fixed Group planners, generated documents uses the same combined filters as the Styles section: section-level (style-level) filters and tab-level filters on each Fixed Group tab together. Only styles that match that full filter set appear in the document, consistent with the grid, badge counts, and the Add Styles flow.
For Dynamic Group views, documents include the styles visible in your planner according to your active filters and grouping.
Option Plan Document
The Option Plan document provides a unified export combining Option Plan Summary and Option Plan inc Styles into a single file with two tabbed views for both detailed and summary reporting.
Tab 1 – Option Plan inc Styles – A detailed view displaying styles by colour, grouped by In Store Date and Group in the same order as your Planner. Includes:
- Colour column (after Style) and Group column for clearer assortment visibility
- Style images – Defaults to the Style Preview Image; uses colourway images from Style > Colours when available, or the Style Preview Image with a small colour tile when a colour swatch is configured
- Totals by In Store by group and a grand total for the planner
- All selected Planner fields in columns after Gross Profit %
Tab 2 – Option Plan Summary – The same structure as Tab 1 but without style-level details, providing a concise overview of the planner.

Storyboard A3 & A4
The Storyboard document provides a print-ready layout in A3 or A4 format for reviewing or presenting planning information. The Storyboard is designed to be clear, organised, and easy to share with stakeholders.
Layout and structure
- Plan Number and Customer Name are displayed at the top, making it easy to identify the Planner document at a glance
- Address details are removed to reduce clutter
- The Storyboard accurately reflects the structure and sequencing of the planning view
Style and colour display
- Each Style is separated by Colour, giving better visibility of colourways within the planning document
- Colourway images: If a colourway image has been uploaded in Style › Colours, that image will be displayed
- Colour swatches: If no colourway image is available but colour swatches exist, the Style Preview Image will display with a small colour tile beneath it for each colour

Range Planner A4
The Range Planner A4 document provides an A4 print layout for reviewing and sharing your range planning information.
Layout and structure
- A4 size — Standardised for easy printing and sharing
- No header — Provides a clean layout with more space for planning content
- Group names displayed — Clearly identifies each group within the range
Style display
- Styles appear in the same order as the Planner and remain grouped accordingly
- Each Style is separated by Colour for clearer colourway visibility
Image display
The Range Planner displays images intelligently:
- Colourway image — Displays if uploaded in Style › Colours
- Colour swatch fallback — If unavailable, the Style Preview Image displays with colour tiles for each colour
Images section
Images added in the Images section are included at the end of the document, providing a complete visual reference for the range.
Range Planner A4
View and Download Planner Documents
To download a document:
- Locate the document in the list.
- Click the download icon next to the file name.
The file will download to your default downloads folder.
Alternatively, you can right-click on any file and use Save Link As to save it directly to your preferred location on your computer without having to download it first.
View Only
This section is read-only. Users cannot upload, edit, or delete documents from this screen. All uploads must be completed during earlier steps in the planner workflow.
Example Use Case
A merchandiser reviews planner files including tech packs, pricing approvals, and fabric test results. All files are accessed from the Documents tab and downloaded as needed.
