Duplicate
The Duplicate feature enables users to create a new planner entry using the information from an existing one. This helps maintain consistency and reduces manual data entry when managing similar planning records. Cloning planner records for a new season or phase preserves styles and structure while you update plan numbers, validity dates, and customer assignment.
Duplication is especially useful when multiple planners share similar attributes, such as style groupings, customer setups, or budget structures. It streamlines the creation of new plans whilst ensuring standardised values across records.
When you duplicate a Planner, all associated Styles are automatically copied to the new planner. This applies to both Fixed Group and Dynamic Group views, ensuring that your style configurations are preserved regardless of the grouping method used.
How to Duplicate a Planner

Admin Configuration
Dropdown fields such as Customer are managed in Site Settings. Ensure these values are properly configured to support duplication workflows.
What Gets Copied
When duplicating a Planner, the following information is automatically copied to the new planner:
- Planner Details: Plan Number, Description, Valid From/To dates, and Customer assignment
- Styles: All styles associated with the original planner are copied, including their configurations, pricing, quantities, and other style-specific data
- Group Configurations: Both Fixed Group and Dynamic Group configurations are preserved
Fixed Group vs Dynamic Group
Styles are now copied when duplicating Planners regardless of whether they use Fixed Group or Dynamic Group views. Previously, style copying was only supported for Dynamic Groups. With this enhancement, you can confidently duplicate planners with Fixed Group configurations knowing that all styles will be retained.

- Configuration Prerequisites: Configure dropdown options and mandatory fields in Site Settings before duplicating planners. This prevents errors during the duplication process and ensures all required fields are available for selection.
- Style Preservation: When duplicating planners with Fixed Groups, all styles are automatically copied, making it easy to create variations of existing plans without losing your style configurations.
