Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
We've implemented comprehensive Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to significantly enhance the security of your 3 Clicks account.
This new security feature uses Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTP) authentication, providing an additional layer of protection beyond your regular username and password.
What's New
- Enhanced Account Security: MFA adds a second layer of authentication using authenticator apps like Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator.
- Flexible Setup Process: Easy-to-follow setup flow with QR code scanning and manual entry options.
- Recovery Codes: Secure backup codes generated during setup for account recovery if you lose access to your authenticator device.
- Trusted Device Management: Option to trust devices for a specified period to reduce authentication frequency on familiar devices.
- Admin Control: Administrators can enable or disable the MFA requirements.
Setting Up MFA

Navigate to My Profile > Security in your account settings.

Click the "Enable MFA" button to begin the setup process.

Scan the displayed QR code with your preferred authenticator app, or use the manual entry code as the other method.

Enter the 6-digit verification code from your authenticator app to complete setup.

Save your recovery codes in a secure location for future account recovery through:
- Directly copying the codes
- Downloading the codes to a single file

You will then successfully set up MFA for your 3 Clicks account, enhancing your account security.
Logging In with MFA
- Now, when logging in to your 3 Clicks account, you'll be redirected to the MFA verification page.
- Enter the current 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
- Optionally select "Trust this Device" to reduce authentication frequency on trusted devices.
Enjoy secure access to your 3 Clicks account.
Site Settings > Company > Staff
To help you track security compliance, we've added an MFA status indicator to the user list.

MFA Status Column: A new "MFA" column is now visible in Site Settings > Company > Staff.

Yesstatus is shown if MFA is active for the user. - A
Nostatus is shown if MFA is not active for the user.

Export: The MFA status for each user is now included in the user list export file, making it easier to conduct security audits.
