Shipping Search

Shipping Search lets you find and manage shipment records across your organisation. Use filters, keywords, and column customisation to locate shipments quickly and perform bulk updates.

Shipping Search supports application-specific column organisation and all standard search features—bulk actions, column grouping, inline editing, favourites, and export.

Columns Available

You can customise your Shipping Search view by adding or removing columns. Columns are organised under category headings in Choose Columns. The following columns are available:

Shipment Unique identifier for the shipment. No
Shipment Method Mode of transport for the shipment. The list available for this can be configured in Site Settings › Shipping › Shipping Method. No
Origin Shipment origin or dispatch point. The list available for this can be configured in Site Settings › Shipping › Origin. Yes
Destination Final delivery location. The list available for this can be configured in Site Settings › Shipping › Destination. Yes
ETD Estimated time of departure. Yes
ETA Estimated time of arrival. Yes
Freight Status Current freight status (e.g., In Transit, Delivered). The list available for this can be configured in Site Settings › Shipping › Freight Status. Yes
Status Current shipment status. Yes
Completed Date Date when the shipment was completed. No
Container Container number assigned to the shipment. No
Created Date and time the shipment was created. No
Created By User who created the shipment. No
Delivery Date Date when the shipment was or will be delivered. Yes
Invoice No. Invoice identifier associated with the shipment. No
Shipment Custom Fields User-defined custom fields for the shipment. This can be configured in Site Settings › Shipping › Custom Fields. Yes
Total Cartons Total number of cartons in the shipment. No
Total Freight Cost Total freight cost for the shipment. No
Total Tariff Cost Total tariff cost for the shipment. No
Updated Date and time of the last update. No
Vessel Vessel, carrier, or transport used for the shipment. No

Filter

Use filters to narrow your Shipping Search results. The following filters are available:

Filter Description
Completed Date Filter by shipment completed date.
Container Filter by container number.
Created Filter by shipment creation date.
Created Between Filter by creation date range.
Created By Filter by user who created the shipment.
Delivery Date Filter by delivery date.
Delivery Date Between Filter by delivery date range.
Destination Filter by delivery destination. The list for this filter depends on what was configured in Site Settings › Shipping › Destination.
ETA Filter by estimated time of arrival.
ETA Between Filter by ETA date range.
ETD Filter by estimated time of departure.
ETD Between Filter by ETD date range.
Freight Status Filter by freight status. The list for this filter depends on what was configured in Site Settings › Shipping › Freight Status.
Keywords Search across shipment fields by keyword.
Origin Filter by shipment origin. The list for this filter depends on what was configured in Site Settings › Shipping › Origin.
Recent Filter to show recently viewed or updated shipments.
Status Filter by shipment status.
Shipment Method Filter by mode of transport. The list for this filter depends on what was configured in Site Settings › Shipping › Shipping Method.
Shipment Custom Fields Filter by shipment custom fields. The list for this filter depends on what was configured in Site Settings › Shipping › Custom Fields.
Total Freight Cost Filter by total freight cost.
Total Tariff Cost Filter by total tariff cost.
Updated Filter by last update date.
Updated Between Filter by update date range.

Bulk Actions

Shipping Search supports bulk actions with these functionalities:

Action Bar Fields
Actions Delete — Remove selected shipments.
Fields Delivery Date — Date when the shipment was or will be delivered.
Destination — Final delivery location.
ETA — Estimated time of arrival.
ETD — Estimated time of departure.
Freight Status — Current shipment status.
Origin — Shipment origin or dispatch point.
Status — Current shipment status.

Updating Associated Orders

When updating Status or ETA (for single updates or bulk actions), you can choose to apply the change to all associated Orders:

  • Status > Completed — When you set a shipment's status to Completed, a confirmation pop-up lets you update the status of all associated Orders to Completed as well. All changes are logged in the respective Order > History log.
  • ETA — When you update a shipment's ETA, a confirmation pop-up lets you update the ETA for all associated Orders. All changes are logged in the respective Order > History log.
