Arrival Zones
The Arrival Zones section enables users to define and manage delivery and receiving locations across the platform. These zones are integral to various functions, including costing, shipping logistics, and customer management, ensuring accurate and consistent regional data throughout your operations.

Arrival zones represent distinct delivery and receiving locations—such as warehouses, distribution centres, or regional hubs. By managing these centrally, teams can standardise freight management, lead time calculations, and regional costing scenarios.
The Arrival Zones section allows you to create a consistent set of locations that can be used across costing, shipping logistics, and customer management. These zones help ensure that logistical and financial data is accurately aligned with your operational footprint and that critical regional information remains traceable across the platform.

Quick Check - Before You Start
- Align zone names with how logistics and costing teams refer to hubs (DC codes, port names, regions).
- Confirm Customer defaults and freight templates that reference arrival zones will still make sense after edits.
- Retire zones with Disable when they still appear on historical shipments or cost sheets.
Managing Arrival Zones
Add Arrival Zone
- Click the Add New button at the top left.
- Complete the required fields in the pop-up form.
- Click Save to add the new zone to the list.
Edit Arrival Zone
- Click the pen icon next to the arrival zone you'd like to modify.
- Make the required updates in the pop-up window.
- Click Save to apply the changes.

Delete Arrival Zone
- Single delete: Click the trashcan icon next to an arrival zone and confirm the deletion.
- Bulk delete: Use checkboxes to select multiple arrival zones, then click the main delete icon that appears and confirm deletion.

Disable Arrival Zone
- If a zone is no longer active but needs to be retained for historical data, change its status from Enabled to Disabled.
- This can be done directly in the list or via the toggle in the Edit pop-up.
Best Practice
It is best practice to Disable zones that have been used previously. Deleting a zone with historical associations can lead to data inconsistencies in other modules.
Other Actions
- Filter – View arrival zones by status (Enabled or Disabled).

- History – Export a detailed log of arrival zone changes and version history for auditing purposes.

- Export – Download the complete list of arrival zones in
.xlsxformat.

Tip
- Use clear naming conventions to make arrival zones easy to filter and identify across costing and shipping modules.
- Disable unused zones instead of deleting them to retain historical context and maintain audit trails.
- Use exports for freight reviews and regional audits to track zone usage and costing alignment.
- Regularly review arrival zone lists to ensure they align with current operations and regional requirements.
- Document zone purposes and associated regions to help team members understand their use in costing and logistics.
Troubleshooting
Why is an arrival zone missing on a customer or costing screen?
Disabled zones are withheld from new selections.
Steps to resolve:
- Open Site Settings › Company › Arrival Zone and set Filter to All.
- Enable the zone or create a new row with the correct region mapping.
Why can I not delete a zone?
Historical freight or customer defaults may still reference the zone.
Steps to resolve:
- Use Disable instead of delete.
- Update customers or templates that still pointed at the old name.
How do I audit changes to zone names?
Use History and Export together.
Steps to resolve:
- Download History for the audit window.
- Compare with an Export taken before major restructuring.
