Pack
The Pack section enables users to define and manage packing configurations used for shipping products. Each pack entry outlines how units are grouped and labelled, which directly affects logistics, documentation, and warehouse processes.

A Pack is a unique identifier assigned to every carton, pre-pack, or shipping unit during the production and packing process. It acts as a precise tracking reference that links the physical unit to its corresponding order details, contents, and packing instructions.
By using Pack identifiers, suppliers can ensure that each unit is assembled, labelled, and shipped according to the correct specifications. This improves accuracy, consistency, and traceability throughout the entire workflow—from packing on the production floor to final delivery—reducing errors and helping teams verify that the right products reach the right destination.

Quick Check - Before You Start
- You can edit Site Settings › Orders › Pack
- Align pack codes with warehouse carton labels and supplier packing instructions
- Coordinate with Order › General Settings if pack drives quantity grid grouping

Delete Pack
Common Pitfall
Deleting pack codes confuses historical shipping and colour quantity data. Disable retired packs when logistics still needs to read old orders.
- Single delete: Click the trashcan icon next to a pack and confirm the deletion.

- Bulk delete: Use checkboxes to select multiple packs, then confirm deletion.

Other Actions
- Filter – View packs by Status (Enabled or Disabled).

- History – Export a detailed log of pack changes and version history for auditing purposes.

- Export – Download the complete list of pack types in
.xlsxformat.
Table Flexibility
Users can tailor the table layout using the following controls:
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Sort by Ascending or Descending | Reorder pack types alphabetically or by creation date. |
| Pin Column | Lock important columns in place while scrolling. |
| Autosize This Column | Automatically resize the specific column to fit its content. |
| Autosize All Columns | Applies autosizing on all columns. |
| Choose Columns | Show or hide individual table columns. |
| Reset Columns | Return the table to the default configuration. |

Tips
- Review pack types regularly with warehouse and supply chain partners.
- Disable unused pack types rather than deleting them to preserve data and maintain audit trails.
- Export pack history to support audits or supply chain reviews.
- Use consistent naming conventions to align with warehouse and logistics processes.
- Document pack purposes and configurations to help team members understand packing requirements.

Troubleshooting

How do I audit pack master data?
Steps to resolve:
- Export the pack list before peak season changes
