Pack

The Pack section enables users to define and manage packing configurations used for shipping products. Each pack entry outlines how units are grouped and labelled, which directly affects logistics, documentation, and warehouse processes.

Pack

A Pack is a unique identifier assigned to every carton, pre-pack, or shipping unit during the production and packing process. It acts as a precise tracking reference that links the physical unit to its corresponding order details, contents, and packing instructions.

By using Pack identifiers, suppliers can ensure that each unit is assembled, labelled, and shipped according to the correct specifications. This improves accuracy, consistency, and traceability throughout the entire workflow—from packing on the production floor to final delivery—reducing errors and helping teams verify that the right products reach the right destination.

  • You can edit Site Settings › Orders › Pack

Managing Packs

Add Pack

  1. Click the Add New button at the top left.
  2. Enter a pack name or description (e.g., A, AB, ABC).
  3. Click Save to create the new pack configuration.

  1. Click the pen icon next to the pack you'd like to modify.
  2. Update the pack name or details.
  3. Click Save to apply your changes.

Common Pitfall

Deleting pack codes confuses historical shipping and colour quantity data. Disable retired packs when logistics still needs to read old orders.

  • Single delete: Click the trashcan icon next to a pack and confirm the deletion.

  • Filter – View packs by Status (Enabled or Disabled). Filter
  • History – Export a detailed log of pack changes and version history for auditing purposes. History

Table Flexibility

Users can tailor the table layout using the following controls:

Sort by Ascending or Descending Reorder pack types alphabetically or by creation date.
Pin Column Lock important columns in place while scrolling.
Autosize This Column Automatically resize the specific column to fit its content.
Autosize All Columns Applies autosizing on all columns.
Choose Columns Show or hide individual table columns.
Reset Columns Return the table to the default configuration.

Troubleshooting

Why is the pack column blank on shipping or reports?

The order row may use a Disabled pack or a code not in Site Settings.

  1. Open Site Settings › Orders › Pack and confirm the code is Enabled
  2. Update the order colour grid to reference the correct pack
Why do cartons not match the B2B pack breakdown?

Pack codes here must match what merchandising enters on orders.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Compare Order › Colour Quantity & Pricing with warehouse pick lists
  2. Rename or add pack rows only after aligning with operations
