Destination

The Destination section allows users to define and manage shipping destination records across the platform. These locations serve as the final delivery points for shipments and are used to ensure accurate routing, documentation, and reporting.

Destinations typically represent retail stores, regional distribution centers, warehouses, or customer hubs. Keeping destination data up to date is essential for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, especially when used in automated shipping documentation.

Quick Check - Before You Start
  • Align destination Code or naming with how stores and DCs appear on commercial invoices.
  • Export the current list before bulk deletes during network restructuring.
  • Prefer Disable when a site pauses operations but historical shipments must keep the same label.

Managing Destinations

Add New Destination

  1. Click the Add New button at the top left.
  2. Enter the required fields, such as destination name, location code, or contact details.
  3. Click Save to create the destination record.

  1. Click the pen icon beside the destination you want to modify.
  2. Update the necessary fields.
  3. Click Save to apply the changes.

  • Filter – Choose between Enabled, Disabled, or All.
  • Export – Download the full list of destination records in .xlsx format.
  • History – Export a detailed change log for audit and review.

Table Flexibility

The destination table view can be customized using the following tools:

Feature Description
Sort by Reorder destinations alphabetically or by creation date.
Pin Column Lock important columns during horizontal scrolling.
Autosize Column Fit column widths to content automatically.
Choose Columns to Display Show or hide fields based on your preferences.
Reset Columns Restore the default layout.

  • Use clear naming conventions (e.g., “NYC - Retail Store 01”) to simplify selection during shipment creation.
  • Export the destination history to verify changes during logistics reviews or audits.
  • Disable rather than delete destinations when pausing or deactivating store locations.

Troubleshooting

Why is my destination missing in the shipment dropdown?

Disabled rows are hidden from new selections while Filter may be hiding All entries.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Open Site Settings › Shipping › Destination and set Filter to All.
  2. Enable the row or create a replacement destination with updated details.
How do I audit destination changes after a reorganisation?

History exports list administrative edits.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Download History for the change window.
  2. Compare with an Export taken before the project began.
Why did bulk delete remove more rows than expected?

Selected checkboxes apply to every highlighted row.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Always Export before bulk actions.
  2. Recreate missing destinations from the backup file if available.
