Freight Status

Use the Freight Status to define the shipping and delivery stages that appear across orders. Keep this list current so teams and partners can track logistics milestones and report progress consistently.

Freight statuses communicate where an order is in its journey—examples include In Transit, Arrived at Port, or Delivered. A clear set of statuses keeps everyone aligned on shipping updates.

Status workflow hints

  • Disable outdated freight statuses rather than deleting them to preserve historical order tracking.
  • Export your freight status history during supply chain reviews or audits.

Troubleshooting

Why is a freight status missing on new orders or shipments?

Disabled statuses are withheld from new selections.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Open Site Settings › Shipping › Freight Status and review Filter.
  2. Enable the row or duplicate the label under a new name if you are modernising terminology.
Why do partner updates not match our internal status list?

Partners use their own terminology; your list must be mapped through process, not automatically.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Document a translation table between partner events and your configured statuses.
  2. Train coordinators to select the correct internal status when external events arrive.
How do I audit who renamed a status?

Use History exports.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Download History for the review period.
  2. Align entries with your change-management log.
