The General Settings page in the Shipping module allows administrators to configure key operational parameters for managing shipments. These settings ensure data consistency, automate workflows, and align the system with your organisation's logistics processes.
This section provides a centralised location for managing shipment numbering, status automation, and supplier collaboration features. Correctly configuring these settings is crucial for maintaining an efficient and accurate shipping workflow.
Fields and Configuration
Shipped Quantity - Display the shipped quantity on the portal and enable the ability to enter the quantity. Toggle on or off. Files - Automatically create a folder when a new shipment is created. Members - Select the default members for shipping. Pricing - Configure the default pricing currency for Total Freight Cost and Total Tariff Cost.
