Drop

The Drop configuration in Site Settings > Style allows you to manage how product drops are defined and displayed across your site.

Helpful tips
  • Customise Drop Labels for Clarity: Use clear, customer-friendly names for each drop (e.g., “Spring Collection” or “Limited Release”) to help users easily identify product groupings.
  • Align Drops with Marketing Campaigns: Coordinate drop configurations with your promotional calendar. This ensures that product releases are timed and labelled to match your marketing efforts.

Troubleshooting

Why is a drop not visible when I assign it to a style?

The drop may be Disabled, which hides it from normal selection while keeping historical assignments intact.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Open Site Settings › Style › Drop
  2. Use Filter to include Disabled rows if needed
  3. Enable the drop or create a new enabled drop and update styles
How do I audit who changed drop settings?

Use the history export to review changes over time.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Go to Site Settings › Style › Drop
  2. Use Download History Logs to retrieve the change log
  3. Open the export and filter by date or user for the review
Should I delete a drop we no longer sell?

Deleting removes the master record and can complicate historical reporting.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Prefer Disable for retired drops
  2. Keep naming consistent with archived seasons or campaigns
  3. Use Export View before major clean-ups if compliance requires a snapshot
