Licensor
The Licensor section allows you to define and manage the organisations or individuals who legally own the intellectual property (IP) rights associated with your styles. Managing this data ensures accurate brand attribution and supports compliance across all licensing workflows.
Licensors are often linked to license agreements for character IP, trademarks, or brand logos (e.g., Disney, Warner Bros., NBA). Keeping this list accurate ensures consistent licensing documentation, filtering, and reporting.

|---|---|
| Sort by | Organise licensors alphabetically or by the date they were last updated. |
| Pin Column | Lock important columns in place for consistent visibility while scrolling. |
| Autosize Column | Automatically adjust column widths to fit the content. |
| Show/Hide Columns | Choose which columns to display to create a tailored view. |
| Reset Columns | Restore the table to its default layout. |
Pro tips
- Standardise Naming: Use a consistent naming convention (e.g., Warner Bros., not WB) to ensure clean data for filtering and reporting.
- Archive, Don't Delete: It is best practice to Disable licensors that are no longer active instead of deleting them. This preserves historical data integrity for past styles and license agreements.
- Link to Licenses: Ensure each licensor is correctly associated with its corresponding licenses. This creates a clear and traceable link from the IP owner to the specific rights granted for each style.
