Tariff
The Tariff section allows you to define and manage tariff codes associated with styles. Tariffs are often used to support customs declarations, regulatory compliance, and accurate landed cost calculations.
Each tariff record typically includes a code (e.g., HS Code), description, and applicable product group. Assigning correct tariffs to styles is essential for cross-border trade compliance, logistics documentation, and integration with finance or ERP systems.
Quick Check - Before You Start
- You can edit Site Settings › Style › Tariff
- Confirm HS or statutory codes with your trade compliance team before publishing
- Prefer Disable for codes that are retired but still appear on historical styles

Pro tips
- Use Official HS Codes: To minimise customs clearance delays and ensure compliance, always use official Harmonized System (HS) codes for your products.
- Integrate with Logistics: Regularly export tariff data to share with your logistics partners or use in international shipping documentation to ensure accurate duty and tax calculations.
- Archive, Don't Delete: It is best practice to Disable outdated or unused tariffs instead of deleting them. This preserves historical data integrity for auditing and reporting purposes.
