Style Members
The Members section in the Style module allows users to assign or remove internal team members who are responsible for or collaborating on a style. It enables clear ownership, accountability, and coordination across departments. Use it to record who owns design, merchandising, and related product development roles on the style so workflows and notifications reach the right people.

Team members assigned to a style can include designers, merchandisers, product developers, or any stakeholders involved in the lifecycle of that style. Member management ensures proper task routing and visibility throughout the style workflow. Assigning members helps with task tracking and visibility in dashboards and reporting, whilst suggested groups allow you to assign commonly involved departments quickly.

Member Management
These features help organise and control member visibility and collaboration within the style record.
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Suggested Groups | Browse and select from pre-defined groups (e.g., 3 Clicks Apparel) to assign commonly involved departments quickly. This speeds up member assignment for recurring workflows. |
| Member List | View all assigned members in a single list within the style record. The list provides clear visibility of who is responsible for or collaborating on the style. (System-generated) |
| Search | Use the search bar to find users by name when assigning members. This is particularly useful in larger organisations with many team members. (Available to all users) |
Important Notes When Using Members
Member Removal: Removing a member does not delete any associated actions, comments, or files; they remain part of the record history. The member will no longer receive notifications or have visibility of the style in their assigned list.
Task Routing: Assigned members may receive task notifications and appear in dashboards and reporting. Ensure members are kept up to date to avoid confusion during approvals or handovers.
Suggested Groups: Use suggested groups to assign commonly involved departments quickly, but verify individual assignments for critical styles or approvals.
Best Practices
Assign Key Stakeholders: Assign designers, merchandisers, and product developers who are actively involved in the style lifecycle to ensure proper task routing and visibility.
Use Suggested Groups: Use suggested groups to assign commonly involved departments quickly for recurring workflows.
Review Periodically: Review member assignments periodically to ensure the list reflects current ownership, especially after team changes or project handovers.
