Style Packaging

The Packaging section within the Style application allows users to define the packaging specifications for each style, ensuring clear instructions for packing, shipping, and handling.

Packaging is organised into three sections: Unit, Inner, and Outer, each defining specifications for different packaging levels. These sections help ensure clear instructions for packing, shipping, and handling at every stage.

Troubleshooting

Why is the GTIN field missing on the Unit section?

GTIN is only available on Inner and Outer packaging levels by design.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Enter the GTIN on Inner or Outer as required by your retailer or logistics partner.
  2. Leave Unit for item-level prep notes, dimensions, and weight instead.
My carton dimensions look wrong downstream—what should I verify?

Dimensions use the site’s configured units; mixing imperial and metric causes fulfilment errors.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Re-check H, W, and L against your physical sample using the same unit shown in the UI.
  2. Update Carton Weight at the same time so carriers receive a consistent cube and mass.
Packaging images are unclear on the factory floor—how do I improve them?

Small thumbnails hide annotations that communicate special handling.

Steps to resolve:

  1. Upload higher-resolution photos for each packaging tier.
  2. Use the Drawing Tool to circle straps, hang-tab placement, or fragile zones, then switch to the large icon view when reviewing.
