Manage Sample Reports
The Sample Reports section provides detailed records of product samples related to styles or orders. These reports track measurements, fit comments, attachments, and approval feedback, providing a transparent record between the customer and supplier during the sampling process.
In the Supplier Portal, the Samples tab contains both Sample Requirements and Sample Reports. Sample Reports can be linked to:
- Styles – Used during product development and pre-production approvals.
- Orders – Used for production samples, size sets, or shipment sample verification.
Depending on the access permissions granted by the customer, suppliers may have edit access or view-only access to each report. To access and manage sample reports, open a Style or Order from the main portal view, navigate to the Samples tab, and locate the sample report you want to review or manage.

- Open the correct Style or Order from the portal, then go to the Samples tab

Actions and Descriptions

Troubleshooting
Why can’t I edit the sample report—the pen icon is missing?
Editing is controlled by the customer’s portal permissions; view-only access hides change actions.
Steps to resolve:
- Confirm you are on the correct Style or Order and Samples tab
- If you only see read-only content, ask the customer instance to grant edit access for sample reports
- Use Download PDF if you only need an offline copy while access is negotiated
My changes or uploads are not showing to the customer—what should I verify?
Unsaved edits, missing required fields, or network interruptions can prevent updates from persisting.
Steps to resolve:
- Complete all required fields and save or submit using the report’s primary action control
- Refresh the page and reopen the report to confirm your revisions stuck
- Re-upload images if previews failed, keeping file types and sizes within normal limits
Where do I enter sample cost and currency?
Sample Reports focus on measurements, comments, and attachments; Sample Cost and Currency live under Sample Requirements.

- Follow Manage Sample Requirements for cost fields
